Terms of service

The agreement between you and us when you use Chessmites. Short, plain, and the same for everyone.

Chessmites is offered to people in Australia. The first line of every opening course is free, always, with or without an account. A subscription costs A$9.99 a month or A$79 a year, including GST, and covers one adult and up to four child accounts they look after. You can cancel at any time from your account page and keep access to the end of the period you paid for. If you change your mind within 14 days of first subscribing, we refund you in full, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you are under 13, a parent or guardian creates your account and agrees to these terms for you. Tournament dates and ratings come from published sources, so always confirm with the organiser or federation before relying on them. The full terms are below.
